Let's not forget Jason Meyers! I know he didn't get top 5, but it was because he got taken out by a lapped car. Congrats to all our CA guys! The Posse aren't the only drivers that can do well against the WoO Smile

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

60? You have to be kidding right?

Born: September 5, 1957

Happy belated B-Day, BK You still have more than couple years left of kicking some ass in a Sprint Car.

Also 5th place in the B main Saturday. One spot out of making the show. Evan Suggs. Good job by the 33e.

One more young gun to mention, I thought Brent Bjork did very well this weekend.

Congrats to all of our Cali teams.

if i am not mistaken we also had cali cars finish in 4 of the top 5 in the A main.

i believe larry woodward who owns the 2 car of dolansky is still from cali.

maurie williams is the owner of the 0 car of allard and will put his team up against the best anywhere

BK owns his 69 car and cali is proud to have him

tom rolfe owns the 10 that sammy drove and we thank tom for bringing sammy to the gold cup

also GSC teams finished in 3 of the top 5 in the A main.

if we were PA we would be claiming a top 5 sweep! c'mon you know under PA rules we could claim sammy and dolansky 'cause they were in cali cars and haud... well EVERYBODY claimes haud. he is not just the WILD CHILD he is a woo WILD CARD lol.

That is true about some PA posters affinity for blathering on and on about their feats. I say good job CA racers. You can be proud to be one of the toughest places in the country to race at. It was a hell of a show on dirtvision.com, I just wish Meyers didnt get taken out... it was starting to be an amazing race in traffic.
Cheers!

Here's what it says on HammerDown.

Bobby McMahan returned to racing at Chico after a ten year absence to run the Steve Harris #33. The former Silver Dollar Speedway track record holder looked like he hadn't missed a day. He rolled the 360 powered car to a perfect 11.9 clocking on his preliminary night. A sixth place finish in Saturday's C-Main was enough to give Bobby the $1,000 bonus for the top 360 team of the 55th Gold Cup.

And don't forget Brad Sweet came from 23rd to 13th and wouldv'e kept going if Crotchety old Kinser would drive instead of create a rolling road block, he must have put Brad in the infield or over the cushion 6 or seven times that I saw.
