Open-wheel Tripleheader This Saturday at Valley Speedway!

(Bill W) The "Kansas City King of the Wings" and Midget Classic takes to the track this Saturday night, September 6, at the Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri! The Winged Outlaw Warriors (WOW) sprint cars and the midgets will both race for $1,200 to win on the 1/3 mile black gumbo oval! Mix in the 305 sprints, and it's an open-wheel tripleheader you don't want to miss!!!

The WOW will battle for bragging rights and who will be named "King of the Wings"! The usual WOW contingent will be on hand, including multi-time series champion Randy Martin, and young up-and-comer Jonathan Cornell. The mix of a veteran and a youngster at the top of the point standings has had everyone on their feet this season in the "Show-Me" state! "Blackjack" Brian Brown is also scheduled to defend his win of one year ago in his hometown! Last year's field drew just under 40 sprint cars, so you don't want to miss this one!

The midgets always put on an outstanding show at Valley Speedway. Brady Bacon, Donnie Lehmann, Cody Brewer, Greg Lueckert and Mike Hess have all battled three-wide to find victory on the 1/3 mile oval in the past few years. With $1,200 on the line, you can expect a solid field to be on hand to take home the cash! A solid field of 305 sprint cars will add to the excitement as well! They have been battling throughout the "Show-Me" State all season, and the Valley Speedway will be a fine showcase for their skills!

Gates open at 5 p.m., with races starting at 7:30! Admission is just $15 for adults, $5 for kids age 7-14, and children 6 and under are free!

To get to Valley Raceway take exit #24 off Interstate 70 (east of Kansas City). Drive south through Grain Valley on Buckner Tarsney Road (Main Street). Turn left (east) at the stoplight on Eagles Parkway (AA Highway / Old 40 Highway). Follow Old Highway 40 east 1/8 mile to track entrance on north side of road.

You don't want to miss this one! We'll see you Saturday night at the Valley Speedway!

Bill - I left you a pit pass at Cedar Lake for Saturday night. You headed the other direction?
