I will be there camping at the fairgrounds. The best four days of the year for me since I have not made it to Knoxville yet! My vacation kicks off next weekend with the traditional sprints (USAC/CRA) at Calistoga for the first time in 23 years. Then on to Chico for the party!!

I did the Oxford a couple of years ago, it was really nice. There is something to be said about being able to turn off the party when you want to sleep. If it was not for my two brothers I would probably do the Oxford again, however my bros want to camp at the fairgrounds and I do have a trailer so I will still have a comfy bed. Camping is always fun but sometimes you just want to sleep!!
Damn, I guess I am getting old!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

We'll be at the Holiday Inn. There is always a slew of WoO teams staying there. In the morning the cars are out of the haulers and being prepped for the evening. Great photo opps!
I can vouch for the Hotels being wicked fun. More then once we crawled out of bed to find we missed our tee time or all of the race teams already finished their work and bolted for the track.

I heard Kyle Larson's dad was prepping an oval slot car track for some racing. If you've never seen the Sprint Cars and Midgets he builds you need to head over where they camp and grab a control. These things are pretty cool. They are normally camped across from the pavilion where the chili feed / bikini contest is housed.

I'm super jealous of all of you who get the chance to attend the Gold Cup. It's on my list, but the list seems to get longer each year rather than shorter.
Ah well, some day.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Will be up there Tuesday or Wednesday. Depends on whether I make the drive to Cottage Grove. Staying at the Marriott Residence Inn. Crawling distance from the post race parties.

If you foreigners can get your asses outta bed Sat 1ish come play bean-bags in the Pavilion. We generally get 18 to 20 teams and pay $200 to the winning team. Oh, and unlike some of them tournaments in Ohio, alcohol is permitted.

Eagle, Last year, the flight ticket was $640. This year I bought one for $168, and yesterday, they were $187 from Omaha to Sacramento. Leaving 9/3 .OMA at 7AM, and arriving at Sacramento at 10:40.
I couldnt pass it up, and neither should anyone that wants to go. You're not going to get there any cheaper.
Moose, I need my beauty sleep, you know.

Yzman, we have strict rules in Ohio....where is my porn?
Moose is quiet as a mouse, and will be asleep each night before 11pm, well unless the bass boat starts cruising the campground!
Dang, I miss you guys
