Give a shout out to Tyler Propps. They blew two tires on the trailer on the way. Found a used tire at some business they helped themselves too and made it at the track about 6:45 pm. Started scratch in their heat race (last) and came through the field to finish second and an automatic transfer spot to the feature.......Bobby Smith looked really good there also. Only two city guys.

We had another good time racin, even with all we went through to get there. Amarillo is a track we wanted to race on but never could due to the IMCA rule they enforce. Ya we helped ourself to the tire but left $10 behind for the owner. If another one went down after that we would of put a modified tire on the trailer, there was nothin goin stop us from making that show and glad we made it. The officials and other teams at Amarillo our pretty cool too, it's a track if you get the chance I recommend running, it seems to be the same gear as the City. I just wonder how some other City Drivers would of faired with Tyler and Bobby making top 10's, How would of Autry, Chickering, Anderson, Reed or even Jorski would of done. I offered to fill Jorski and Reed rigs up if they would go but they turned me down and maybe a smart move on Jorski part seeing how he held class at Brilladega. Stands were packed as well with lots of fans. Track was tacky for the heats but dried out for the feature with no ruts but didn't make enough changes to challenge more but we'll take that top 10........ Just alittle side note, we destroyed that brand new body already due to a car spinning in 2 at the start of the race but never left anything on the track, I guess that new vel crow is working!
