Arrangements have been made to allow the All Stars Circuit of Champions to race at Hilltop due to an overwhelming response from the fans. Modifieds and Pure Stocks will also be on tap for the night! Get there early to get your favorite seat!

Hilltop will be updating their website shortly to reflect the addition of this race. Hope to see everyone there for the last time in '08!

Hope Hilltop does something to control the dust better. We left there last year looking like we just came out of a coal mine. Never used so many Q-tips in my life or left such a mess in a hotel room either! How in the heck can the drivers even see to race?

I've heard they have plans to put down new clay. Next year. Don't plan on it being much better I'd say. Only so much you can do with an old junkyard after so long.

Just got off the phone with Roger Patterson, the new owner of Hilltop Speedway. They have in fact put down some new clay. They currently have the track surface opened up soaking in some of the rain that is in the area right now. They will be working hard to get a good racing surface in for this weekend. Patterson and his team have additionally started to make more progress on some of the other cosmetics to the facility.
Bottom line, the track is working hard to give the fans a great place to go racing. Patterson is excited about this weekend and is proud to be bringing the O'Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions to the facility the first time he opens the doors. Look for a good show as Dewease and Blaney are in the final events of their tight point's battle. Hannagan, who won the Ohio Speedweek event at the facility, is currently in the 3rd spot with points.

When a person steps up and tries to keep racing going at any track, especially one in a traditionally rich sprint car area like Millersburg and the surrounding area, he should be applauded. And when a series goes out of its way to support those actions with quality racing events, it should be applauded as well. Good job Roger Patterson and the All Stars! Here's hoping for a successful event and long term success!
