I will post more of my thoughts on the front page hopefully this evening PLUS an editorial for not only the racers here at SFS but racers at other tracks in general. It may piss alot of you off but I feel it has to be told or somebody is eventually going to get hurt or killed.

That was probably the funnest that I have had at a race in a long time and a GREAT show, not just pretty good in my opinion. I started by seeing my friend Bill Armstrong (nonwingbill) finally attend and sit with me. He is all about non-wing sprint racing and he too enjoyed himself.

I haven't read the Daily Dissappointment but if he made mention about the cars being slow then he needs to get the fdcuckh away from covering races. Racing is not about speed or how fast cars go, that is for drag racing. RACING is the side by side battle for position and BOTH divisions had that last night.

Please do not let this upset some of you and I am replaying that over and over in my head but I really feel the Reed/Anderson deal was a racing thing. I truely do and mean that. If nothing else, which is par for the course at special events with an awesome crowd like last night. It proves history is dead on that when there is controversy, the fans at SFS are loud and vocal. That added to the appeal of last night also.

Koby Barksdale turned heads and not just mine. This kid is the real deal with a whole lot less to work with. All that was with a homemade 360 engine for you folks that didn't know.

$1000 to win on a Wednesday night in OKC and nobody new what it paid on back and still you had 38 cars. WOW!!!

Side by side racing is the best. I have had some of the same thoughts as you about last night David. Wish they could get the holes out of the turns so they tear up as much equipment. I know it happens but the track being full of holes don't help any at all. I thought it was good crowd. The most I've seen in a long while. Hey, what about the 50/50 tickets? My numbers always seem to be comletely different from what they announce. lol I gotta quit buying those.

Great racing last night in both divisions.

What can you say about a sprint car throwing 30 foot rooster tails & being sideways at the flagstand!! Just great racing. Reminds me of the super & champ dirt stuff. Reed & Anderson; yeah just a racin deal in front of more fans than usual for extra bucks! Again, throwback stuff to where you had good guys & villans.. Barksdale did a great job, I think he'll be around for a while.

Gotta work late so won't make Sapulpa, it should kick ass!! Have fun.

Last night was the first time I've seen non-wing in person. I really did enjoy it and the mod race was awesome too. I don't think that the Reed and Anderson deal was anything more than a racing deal, two quality drivers both aiming for the same goal.

Koby Barksdale, with a 360, did a great job running with those guys. Just proves that the drivers ability is a huge factor in sprint racing - with or without wings. Good luck to him tonight in Sapulpa!
