It is that time of year but I'm not talkin about the temp. Last Fri. at SFS the Temp was hotter than anywhere else because of the way SFS lined people up as well as the type of track that the crew at SFS produced. I really would hope that they would take a closer look at the way they are handleing things, they probably destroyed one of the last remaining Factories {not to mention the 2 Drivers saftey that were involved} because they felt as if they needed things to get over with sooner for not throwing a "YELLOW". The line up and the track conditions have become a "norm" out there and thats real sad but the one thing I cant agree with is leaving a car in the racin groove when they never even ran a "B". The "norm" at SFS is becoming a very dangerous situation for Drivers and Equip alike. I really wish SFS would listen to the Fans and Drivers alike and really make an honest effort to try to bring this track to Natl. status. This all maybe wishful thinkin, but it is real hard for me to support a track that dosent even realize they have a problem and refuses to try to correct what problems are so apparent!

JD this very subject has been on my mind too for about 3 weeks now, not only because I help put a driver on the track but to me (every driver out there)'s safety is the most importrant thing at that track, The incident with the factory stock is inexcusable to say the least, I do not understand this lack of concern or williness to listen to anyone else about what is going on,now we have some of the most dangerous sprint cars there are and a Modified race in 3 days and you know as well as i do , the track prep will be done Wens. afternoon. Countless numbers of professional Dirt managers have offered their help at no charge to try and get that track back in shape and been told don't worry their help isn't needed. The story I got was that the Fair Board got many complaints about the dust level , so they came out to see, track was ? good, halfway thur the champ sprint feature the dust cloud is blowing right into the seats where they are sitting. so now we have water running out of the track into the infield after the last race.you can see it in the pictures they just posted.

Wow you can tell that the track is run by the same people as Lawton Speedway ... They have no regard for driver Safety or anything as long as they get fan and driver money they act as if that is the only thing there is but one day it will end up being like one of the tracks from Colorado and it will be no more because drivers and fans will all vanish to other places that are safer and all

I said virtually the same thing in a different post. Why is lanny such a knumbskull? One would think his ego would get thrown out along with his goons that try to help out there. Safety has been a concern for more than just this year. I've been saying that for several years now. I was talking a fan yesterday, he is concerned for the drivers safety also. So it isn't just racers that know about it. It's alot of fans too. He mentioned that he thought, like alot of us, that Lanny would help make things better out there. Well we all got a big surprise, didn't we. Lord help us!!! A great facility is on it's way to the dump via the Lanny train and his so called officiating crew. Come on guys, I know your reading this. Tell the boss he's wrong and do the right things out there.
