Lap leaders: J. Buntin 1-20
Jessie Buntin (driving the Curtis Martin #27) took the lead from the pole position and quickly took the lead over Little, Day and Bragg.....Buntin was hooked up as he opened a comfortable ten to fifteen car length advantage by lap three.....His lead grew to a half stretch by lap five when the caution fell for Waters spin in turns three and four....Buntin again jumped out to a commanding lead on the restart while on lap eight, current points lead Reed, who was running eleventh, exited to the pits with motor problems....In the meantime, Buntin checked out from the rest of the field but behind him, eyes were on eighth starting Allenas he worked his way up into third on lap thirteen and passed Little for the runner up position with five laps to go but couldn't catch Buntin as he picked up his first victory of the season....Chickering protested Reed at the conclusion of the modified feature with Reed returning the favor. Both drivers were still being inspected as I left the racetrck.

Kudos to Jesse Buntin, nicely driven race.
I'd like to protest that Oklahoma Statefair Speedway is one the WORST racing surfaces in the state. What's there to protest in modifieds? If driving like an idiot were illegal the city track would be lucky to get a field of 10 to show up.
Chickering should just run the city, concentrate on catching Reed, cuz we damn sure don't want him anywhere on Saturdays! They way he drives, I'm surprised the pace truck doesn't have a yellow stripe down the side of it.

Shawn im with you for Chickering to go other places as long as he will post where he plans to attend so the others that care about not tearing their cars up may go else where. If that happens sorry for your misfortune Dirt-Mod12, better prepare the battle bars.
