I was there last night. There were not 3 E Mod B's, there were 3 E Mod Heats. About 26 total E-Mods. There were 55 Mods altogether with 6 heats, 4 B's. The A Feature results were: 1) Greg Skaggs 2) Jason Hughes 3) Steve Holzkamper 4) Chad Wheeler 5) Kenny Wallace 6) John Allen 7) Ken Schrader. Skaggs won by a straightaway at least. Awesome show. Stands packed. 134 total cars in the 4 divisions. The track got really dry but definitely remained multi-grooved. Schrader and Wallace were very gracious and signed autographs for everyone, especially Schrader. OMS with the new owners/promoters has really turned in a good direction.

Did Schrader touch the wall in 3 if not he got a real good look at it. never got back over to his car to see if the paint was a little fuzzy on that side.?

I am really glad for Outlaw as I have noticed their results have modifieds car count up to about 24-28 cars on any given Friday night. Great facility, now if things can keep going good.

A BIG Ditto on that, I never went to to Grandstand side but, everything in the pit area was 110%, the yellows were right on time ,I don't think a single driver was in a dangerous spot for more than 2 sec or less until the staff was there to help him/ her,

hmmm.........
wonder how long it took you to figure that one out,
but seriously - i thought the rubber down was very very abrasive on the tires - now granted - I'm talkin about sprint cars - and yeah I go with my layman's understanding of things - most times I saw tracks lay rubber - especially mod races - they weren't very good (TMS, Clinton, Enid). I mean - I hardly ever not have a blast at a racetrack - I'm just saying they coulda been better (more passing) I understand most prefer dry over extremely tacky and heavy. just from the stands - it does look like more actual driving when it is dry as opposed to heavy. but either one - multi-groove is what I always want to see. I dont care if its the Sahara Desert or the Everglades. but the races are much more exciting when there is passing - (duh)
if there was a still a question in your mind as to whether or not I was a race car driver - or had any ambition to be - lay off the mushrooms. i dont know whats so funny about the fact I don't - (the lol) - just going and paying the 10 or 15 bucks and watching good races is all I could really ever ask for -
although if you insist - you can buy a car and I'll take it on the track and run it in to immobile objects in the infield - or the wall.....either way i'm sure i could find creative ways of obliterating it

lol. dude it was one time involving a Belgian air hostess, 17 rubber bands, and a Red Lobster. it still makes me cringe at what happened to that poor orangutang. not a memory to be revisited -
for what i do care to remember - although not much more - I have in fact not seen a race at clinton for a while - dont really remember if it was rubber down or just dry - see they had a dust problem there - it was a stretch to see anything. but the general notion from most is that rubber down is bad - look at the Big J report on the general forum - another case in point - and i aint seen many rubber down races that were good. a couple time i seen it go rubber down it was ok - but there was more than 1 groove. and of course it was sprints
didnt think so on the race car ------------ just remember ----------- if you ever do get the urge to see it - i can transfer some of the paint from the car to the white infield tires many time over. i cant make any promises on the rest though. i'll stay away from the other cars - in fact - i may just see what racing on the half mile is like - see if i can get the car stuck in one of the many snags around the wall out there or something. put lanny's insurance to good use. worst case scenario - I will be martyred. all the worst in racing will be compared to me ------- a dubious honor - but an honor nonetheless. sorry I gotta roll - more cow poop to sift through lookin for those golden nuggets lol.
