Super Sprints 22 Cars

Adkins led at start followed by McWater, Bruce Jennings and led the first lap before the red fell on lap two for Gastineau flipped in turn two....Leep and Johnson would get together next in turn two with Johnson flipping and Leep getting some air time also.....The next restart was better as Adkins continued out front followed by McWater and McAlister as the latter two would get together causing damage to McAlister ending his night....Adkins would again take off on restart but lead would be short lived as he spun by himself in turn two on lap four....The lap four restart was McWater followed by Decker, Hill, Bruce Jennings, Robert Sellers, Danny Jennings (from the back) and Barksdale but Hill made a great move at the very top of turns one and two to drive past Decker and McWater to take the lead exiting turn two....By the races midway point, Hill had over a haf lap lead as three laps later, Danny Jennings, who had a strong battle for second with McWater, Decker and Bruce Jennings, finally took over the runner up position on lap thirteen....Hills now full stretch advantage would decrease with five laps to go allowing Jennings to move to within ten car lengths. With one lap to go, Hill looked to have things in had but going down the backstretch, he ran out of fuel allowing Jennings to pass him entering turns three and four to pick up his second feature win of the season.....Good run for Wood as he came from near the back of the field to get a top three.....Marshala bought the former #22 Koby Barksdale sprinter and finished thirteenth....Super sprints saw action without Mike Peters as he blew two tires on his trailer in Arkansas City, Kansas.
