Camping and Hotel Information for Silver Dollar Speedway
This weekend is once again a two day show at Silver Dollar Speedway on July 11 and July 12. As with the July 4th weekend, there will be no camping available at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds because it will be used as a home base for the fire fighters helping combat these terrible fires. With that in mind I have compiled a list of alternative options for camping and hotel information that are affiliated with our track r offered a discount to our fans.
Feather Falls Casino is offering a “Silver Dollar Speedway Special” at their state of the art KOA campground. This offer is only good Thursday through Sunday. They will discount the normal price by 15% for our fans. This offer is also based on the availability of spots. The direct number is 530-533-9020. You will also receive discounts on food and other coupons for use in the Casino. You can also call 530-899-9090 and ask about staying at The Lodge.
Oxford Suites in Chico is offering the Silver Dollar Speedway rate. This is something they do all year, but wanted to remind our fans to call. Space is also limited with the fire fighters in town. Their direct number is 530-530-899-9090. I talked to our contact Sandra and she wanted to remind everyone about the free breakfast in the mornings and the close distance to the race track. Make sure if things are booked, to keep calling back during the week to check availability.
I also spoke with the Almond Tree RV Park, located 3124 Esplanade, Chico, CA 95973. Their phone number is 530-899-1271. They only accept fully contained RV's, so no tent trailers or tents unfortunately. They are also willing to give a discounted price if you mention the Silver Dollar Speedway when you call for this weekend only.
