Man, this Calistoga Race is gonna be a big deal.
Lets see who is going to be there:
I don't know for sure who will be there but these are some of my guesses
Nor Cal Guys:Bud Kaeding, Tim should be there, what about Statler, Foresburg, BK, Kyle Hirst, Peter Murphy, Jeff Delte, Jason York, Shain Matthews, Shane Golobic, Mike Benson, Sparky Howard, Kyle Larson, Myles Bishop, wouldnt Tyler Walker without the wing be something to see.
How do we get Brad Sweet and Robert Ballou to come back home for this race?
Some one said that the orginal Rim Rider is gonna climb in a car for this race, maybe Lil Rim will be there too. We all know that the wild man Anthoney Simone has been back in a race car, will he appear?
So Cal Guys: I wanna see Casey Shuman there, Charles Davis Jr., Super Rickie Gaunt, Mike Spencer, Blake Miller, Danny Sheridan, Garret Hansen, Cory Kruseman, Tyler Brown, Josh Ford, David Cardey, Davey Pombo, Nic Faas, Cody and Rip Williams. And a big fan favorite Tony "Cowboy" Jones.
I have heard rumor that Damion Gardner and Jesse Hockett are going to make the trip out here. Are there open cars for other midwest guys, like Stanbrough, Clayton, Darland, Bacon, Hagen, Cottle, Jones, Hines, Coons. I have heard from a couple of guys who said they would bring a specialist out, and peel the wing off the car for them.
Man oh Man this gonna be a grand ole party.

Good post Merline, I like your enthusiasm and your right, it should be a great show. I sure would like to make it, that track has always had a lot of mystic for me but I've never had the opportunity make a show.
I'm kind of curious though, when you started out the list of drivers you thought or hoped would be there it started like this... "So Cal Guys: I wanna see Casey Shuman there, Charles Davis Jr" and then on to super Ricky etc. You must know that Casey and Charles are AZ boys and neither one of them have ran in So Cal much this year. Now if you want to drop AZ drivers in that hat, how can you forget Jeremy Sherman? It could be said that Jeremy gets around Manzanita's big 1/2 as well as some of the best ever have and Calistoga would be a good track for him. Lets throw in RJ Johnson, Bob Ream Jr, and heck, Chad Boat as well. Yes, it will be a grand old party.

Does anoyone else know anyone that has confirmed that they will race at Calistoga, or even drivers that would like the opportunity?

I'm going to try and you know me, if I'm willing to put my sock drawer fishing money in, I'm serious.
Oh by the way, there was only three of us at Santo Tomas the second week of June including Jerry. We hit the Corvina big time, I'm sure I caught over 30 nice ones on a incoming tide the next to last day. I counted six cast's and six fish at one time. I was just shaking them off. Next time you get a invite from me to run miles of pristine beaches in the Jeep, you should try to make it..LOL You did get my emails, right?
See SCRA forum and send me your extra green stamps..LOL

I did my friend, and wish I had been able to make the trek...too many irons in the fire at present.
I was able to break away for a three day fly fishing trip to the high Sierra's (7,000' - 8,200') and enjoyed watching my son spank dozens of native trout!
I need to get serious about building down there, but with a wife and daughter that don't understand why everyone doesn't drive a Range Rover...help me Mr. Wizard...
Keep in touch, and if you do make it out, I'll buy the first round Kenny.
