Speedweek has showcased some new faces in new places...

Jeremy Campbell didn't look too bad in his first night out on the 0 car.

Jesse Hockett was driving the 9x car out of northern Ohio. That car was driven for a long time by Rob Chaney and Kevin Huntley drove it to a big non-wing victory in the Mopar Thunder event a few years back...

Tim Shaffer was in his familiar 45 last night... It was the same number he used to campaign on the All Star Circuit. He was quick time as the last qualifier... I could not tell who they announced as the owner.

Blake Feese has been driving the 7K for the last 7-10 days. He picked up a win at KC Raceway two weekends ago in his first time out in the car. The 7K car has previously been driven by Jac Haud., Dean Jacobs and Butch Schroeder.

Kenny Jacobs was in the 59 out of Florida. One thought... Loosen up the car!!! The car wouldn't turn and was popping wheelies all over the place. Dean Jacobs in the 55 out of PA looked pretty good as well... The bright orange on black paint makes the car look a lot like the Vermeer car that Kerry Madsen drives...

Lastly, congrats to David Harrison who picked up his first All Star win at basically his home track. Harrison's been around forever and it was good to see him finally get a big win.

I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.

Definitely good to see Dave get the W. He's been a strong runner for years, and was just never quite able to get an All Star win until now.

Don't forget about Mother Nature ... who's she driving for this week?

"...and Kevin Huntley drove it to a big non-wing victory in the Mopar Thunder event a few years back... "

Chaney was the victor for Stan at them USAC shows at Eldora in '05 and '06.

Didn't think The Pup won in that ride at the USAC Eldora events and double checking with the Sleazes' Race Search, it is surprising to find that when Kevin and Stan teamed-up they had no wins?

Surely they won something right?

Both Huntley and Chaney won the big $50K Mopar Thunder race. I believe that Huntley won the next-to-last year in a #21 from Indiana, and Chaney won the final year in Cortad's 9X.

Kevin has driven for Cortad many times, including as a teammate to Chaney in sprint cars and Silver Crown, but I don't recall ever hearing about him winning any races for Stan.
