A couple of things:

Please tell Mark to get the PA working correctly. We can not hear anything from the announcer.

I will personally give someone $100 if they beat Perry Colby, if he is still on the track. I like Perry, I;ve known his family for years. But can anyone beat him? I will give Mark the money and if it happens then they will get paid an extra bit.

As for Brian, I remember him and Steve racing in the early 90's. I think it is great that he is kicking butt. But my question is this: Why does he start on the pole of the heat race? He was found to be illegal and and no point average- so he should be treated as a new driver. More than likely he would win but make it a more interesting. Please don't get me wrong- I like Brian and I've known him for awhile and I will talk w/ him next weekend.

Races were good as a whole a BMS this past weekend. They were better than the weekend before last. Hope the car count comes up. But it appears that all are suffering from car count.

This last message is for Brian. I remember when you were marriend to Sheila. I'll talk w/ you next weekend.

I don't know where you were sitting, but I personally went out before the event Saturday night and made sure that all the speakers were working properly. It is possible that some of them quit during the event, I will check them again Sturday.

All the line-ups are computer generated, and since I didn't write the program I cannot tell you how it treats a disqualified driver. My guess (based on what has happened) is that the computer does NOT treat him like a new driver, but like a driver who has run X number of races, but with a zero point average. With all that there is involved in putting on an event; some details get overlooked.

You make a good point, and I wonder what others think about how this should be done. How do they do it at other tracks? Is a DQ'd driver considered to be new, and therefore start on the back?

Monkey32, Last week we started on the pole of the heat race by mistake, But we started on the back of the feature. So this week we were low point average and got to start on the pole of the heat race and the pole of the feature. I think Mark is going to start lining up the feature by the way you finish the heats. It was supposed to be that way Saturday night but they had some problems. Also, Sheila and I were never married just dating, Hope to see ya at the track this Saturday! Thanks, Brian

With all due respect to Brian Wolfe #15, I have been going to BMS for 2 years now and enjoy watching Brian race, but to say he kicks butt all the time would be false. If I'm not mistaken he was 7th in points when he got suspended, I know that he has been a little inconsistant, but the big story in that class I think is that there are 2 rookies in the top 5, one of those being a rookie leading in points for the last 6 or 7 weeks. Also, the hard charging #44 car is having a good year and is moving up in points. Just my opinion from the grand stands...

I know that from the past when I raced in the 80's and 90's- almost all tracks treated a DQed car- who lost points for the year as a new driver and had to start all over. If he just lost his points for the night, then he kept his point average.

Sorry Brian, I thought you and her were married. That is how old I have gotten in the last 15 years. You are a good driver and have improved over the years.

Personally, I thought Brian was leading the points when he was DQed. I have only been the last few weeks. I am not for sure.

The 44 is doing a good job and if he is a rookie, then good things will happen to him.

Oh and the PA system appears to only work on the north side. It must be turned down a bunch. I sit on the north side. Usually you can hear whoever has been announcing. It might the quality of the speakers. It is all good though.

I ran Pro Stocks , I was number 82. I went to HS w/ Sheila. She was a little younger than I. But I remember you and Steve. I remember the good days at Meeker in the early 90's when the Walton had the track. I raced all over the place, but made Meeker several times.

I have not raced in awhile, but I try to go when I can. You have shown you can wheel a car. I don't think I will be @ Brill this weekend. But the weekend after I will, I will try to catch you and see if your memory comes back to you. You know when you get older, your memory seems to go.

As for the $100 extra added to any ministock that can beat Colby Jr is still there. Maybe Mark can add an extra $100 and make a special race.

The #44 Chad Weber isn't a rookie, the rookies in the top 5 that I was talking about are the #23 car and the 71T. If I'm not mistaken, the #23 car has won an A Feature and has been leading in points the last 6 weeks or so, don't know much about him, but am impressed. I also want to make sure that this isn't a slap to #15, he can bring it around the track also. Just don't hear much about this class, it's my favorite to watch. If you have any more info on these guys let me know!

The number seems familiar, but I can't put a name with it. That was about the time frame when my Dad was running out there, also.

Man, I wish we could get the kinda car counts we had then. "B" and "C" features. Things were cheaper then.

I've always been impressed with the rookies each year. This year is definately an exceptional year for rookies in both Factory stocks and E-Mods. Several rookies in both classes in the top ten, and yes, the 23 car is a rookie, and he is, and has been, leading the points in that class.

He's told me that he intends to be not only Rookie of The Year, but Points Champion in that division. He's well on his way.

Woody drove the 27 car when I was out there. I remember he did have 82 at one time early. It would be nice to have the car count up to the way it use to be. I raced at Creek as well back then, and it was not unusual to get out of there at 3 in the morning. That was when the ASCS would race there every Saturday Night. I think all tracks are hurting right now. W/ the economy the way it is, it can be understandable.

I know when we was out there, we would have over 40 factory's, 25 to 30 Pro Stock, I can not remember the number of mini stocks. There was more of them than they could shake a stick at.
