Good to see it get deleted over nothing but facts. But its good to see the protection still being given out to a select few on here. Deleting a post when needed, is the right thing to do, but it was not needed here as facts were stated throughout. Pretty bush league to delete entire thread when people continue to read the Report for what its worth. There was nothing wrong with it compared to the Posse bashing threads on this here forum. Absolutely pathetic how unbiased things are on here.
Its pretty sad when I'm getting emails wondering where the entire thread got before I even get to check it out. So thanks to the powers-that-be for deleting the whole thing. Better keep a watchful eye for the rest of the summer because the Report will continue to march on.

AMEN! I hope you continue to post the report. It is very entertaining and I look forward to reading it every Monday morning, wether I was there or not. It is just the whiners with "connections" on here, that get these posts deleted. Everyone knows who these people are. If you don't like what you read, don't read it.

WHY WOULD IT BE DELETED? NO PROFANITY, NO REAL BIAS, JUST INFO THAT A RACE FAN ENJOYS READING WHEN THEY CAN'T SEE IT IN PERSON.

Ya know, if it weren't sprint car racing, your recaps wouldn't have any spice to them – and no one would be on a forum talking about it.
And you'll have to find out from a moderator why it was deleted.
But at least be thankful that there is a track you can go to have great 410 racing action to report on – even if at times its controversial...
As here in Texas, there is great ASCS-type racing action, but:
- TX has 8 times the population density of SD (SD has less than 800,000 residents, TX has in excess of 23.5 million)
- TX has 3.5 times the land mass than that of SD
And yet, there isn't even one 410 sprint show scheduled in the entire state of TX for 2008.
Again, without the spice of sprint car action on this forum, some of us would be left with going to a forum post such as this, to get this much action on a weekly basis:
"This past Tuesday's quilt club meeting was an utter atrocity! Mary Beth shown up, and get this, she put a stripe of non-geocentric designs right down the center of her County Fair quilt entry! Needless to say, we were all agasp over such a non-conformist display of misconduct and lack of appreciation for the Club procedures. If our team ends up not going to state this year because of it, that will be the first time since Judy Bell was crowned Corn Queen back in 1973!"

I would also like to add one more thing before I'm done with this. Anybody remember back a few years when McCarl was local and the beating he took on here on a damn-near daily occasion? Not one damn thing was every deleted. But when something comes up Henderson, bam, its gone within 12 hours. McCarl fans could/can take the heat as they know the truth and the results would speak for themselves on the track while its just the opposite for the thin-skinned Golden Boy lovers. What a joke.

well congratulations...you started writing reports and manged to p!ss in the corn flakes of the very same folks that got their hiney's up in the air a few years ago when i threw in the towel.
i met Wertz once or twice and he seemed like a good guy at the time...i accepted that he likes different drivers than i do and that is what makes us race fans. it is however interesting who the influential thin skinners are out there and how certain reports are never removed for ignoring or even attempting to cover up things that happen at the track - in plain view of all who are watching!
if it was me, i would entitle the next report "monday for morons" and let the chips fall where they may...but then im a idiot posse fan who just happens to go to more races in my spare time than some professionals are paid to attend.
wear it as an badge of honor - the air is going out of the balloon and the pilots know it.

Sh*t, it IS gone......that sucks. Thought it was going over pretty well this week. BTW, you don't get to bash McCarl on this board too much either. A lot of threads about him have disappeared over time, as well.

BRR- it was only a matter of time, but the hits will keep on comin' as they say.
Chilly- Its people like you that throw a post and thread into a different direction. And ya, Wertz is paying me $10 monthly to post away. Sugar Daddy? Not quite, how about a good friend with a common interest when it comes to racing.. Thank you for being one of the very special "Monday Morons" to read the Report!

Yes I deleted the entire post late last night. First I tried being selective because I also enjoy the race re-cap from Husets by Big J. But after a few more posts by some of the same characters I became tired of the selective process mainly because it just messes up the entire thread and dumped the whole thing. It had absolutely nothing to do with Big J but it did have to do with a personal accusation against a driver that was un-necessary. I have removed posts before when the comments get personal or when I am requested to take such action. No one asked me to remove anything this time but I did have a request for information about some posts on this board. I just pretty much get tired of some of the nonsense in here and sometimes the good goes down with the bad. I'm sorry about removing the initial post but sometimes I just run out of patience. How a great race results post turns into accusations about a driver is beyond me. I feel like a grade school teacher with a few of the people in here. Some people have been a problem on this message board in the past and I guess they have never changed. Talking about a driver doing something on the race track is never the problem. It's accusations about a driver off the track that can bring legal action that are the problem. There has been a message board here on Hoseheads for 10 years now and I have deleted many posts through the years and will continue to do the same in the future. The funny thing is I don't even own this board at all. I only link to it and I am lucky enough to moderate it. So post away but some of you paranoid posters out there remember big brother is watching you. One more thing...I promise not to delete Big J's Husets reports anymore and I think BRR should bring his PA reports back. See you at the races...Allan Holland

Allan - thanks for the clarification - too busy these days to be bothered with the pen, but i will always prefer reading unofficial / unsanitized accounts from folks that tell it like they saw it...in their own unsponsored style.

Now that the facts have been posted, it's evident the blind accusations of "protection for the select few" was totally false. Damn, once again the facts kill a conspiracy theory........better luck next time....

You are very observant for Posse. lol
I will put up with Posse fans any day of the week over D1 fans. At least Posse fans can understand basic statistics and logic. MSPN might disagree but he is Canadian so he doesn't count.

First-year students at Auburn University Vet school were receiving their first anatomy class, with a real dead cow.
They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet.
The professor started the class by telling them, 'In Veterinary Medicine it is necessary to have two important qualities as a doctor: The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the animal body. '
As an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the dead cow, withdrew it and stuck it in his mouth. 'Go ahead and do the same thing,' he told his students.
The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the anal opening of the dead cow and sucking on it.
When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and said, 'The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention. Life's tough, but it's even tougher if you're stupid.'
