Guess a 55 or 60 year old is not considered a senior in Santa Maria. Heck we get the senior price for breakfast at Carrows!!! LOL

They don't have a military discount either. Guess they don't appreciate our Golden Years fans or the military fans. Heck at least NASCAR offers military discounts!!! So does Perris.
Just my 2 cents

Just like a couple of weeks ago...They advertised a double purse, but all they did was raise the front gate 50%. It was not worth it for 16 cars! I expect this weeks car count to be about the same as USAC barely brings 16 of thier own to Santa Maria. I cant figure out how V 'Ville can pay $5000 to win and not SOAK the fans and owners paying for 40 plus cars? As I count, only 5 of the top 10 in points will be there, who else? 360 guys will not buy a hans or a tire...

If there was no hans requirement I would run there, I have plenty of tires Fuel and so on But just cannot bring myself to buy a hans... Especially when there have been no real studies about the hans and sprintcar racing..... If anything I would expect it to break my collar bones!!! Well I guess a collar bone is better than a broken neck....

Most likely 15 or so cars up there. With the fan price at 20 bones and no student or military discount I guess they don't want too many in the bleachers either. Ventura sure looks good this week end doesn't it?
