aw u missed a heck of a race. great racy track. 23 pro 23 mod 24 super - and 30 champs.
side by side in and out all night long. it was a great race - just somebad bad moves - Whitworth got str8 punted - such a shame theluck woulda been his too. but yeah he got punted. some other too. garnett spun down the middle of the backstr8 from the pole - and kept doing donuts while the field scrambled to avoid him,.dumbass..................
everyone else can explain the rest in the meantime.

It sucked and sucked big time. We have not missed a Friday night in 4 years but we will not be there this coming Friday or any other Friday. WE ARE DONE. The frame is bent in several different places and with the price of everything I just don't have the money and even if I did have the money I wood have to think twice. I am not a happy camper. I can understand or take it if it was Cody's fault but when somebody else tears up your car its very hard to take. It seems like we have this black cloud hanging over our head. Anyways after I see what we have left, I will post what we will have for sale. I know we will have a motor, wheels and tires, and a enclosed trailer. This has left me with a bad taste in my mouth and really glad that Cody wasn't hurt

Who punted Cody?
Anybody got some top five results?
On another SFS note, I see Earnest Jennings won his heat up in Knoxville last night in the youngsters over fifty race.

Don't forget the other two nasty rides. When biscuit lips spun in front of everyone on the backstretch in the two barrel "a" evan sewell missed that but i guess he didnt get checked up when the yellow came out and jumped a right rear going into three and took a pretty nasty flip off the end of three and four. Then in the sprint "a" decker ran in under lee jennings who was already on the bottom and they hooked wheels and she took a pretty nasty ride. Bad night of racing for a lot of people this weekend. Glad I left my car in the garage where its safe. lol.

Ditto Mike and Larry
I'm glad Cody is o.k. wish you could get it back together as we enjoy racing with you. We know our boys can race side by side and be CLEAN about it. That's what racing really is and what makes it fun.

One thing I've always loved about SFS is that almost everyone raced clean. When you run with ASCS you always worry about that over aggressive moron taking you out, but we didn't used have those. Well now we do. With the way the economy is one would guess that people would race smart and use there heads so they could be out there again next week, but the opposite has come to fruition. In the heats people looked like they were racing for the latest lottery winnings as there were dirty slide jobs left and right. Then in the A's people were just sticking wheels where they didn't belong (like over other people's nosewings). I'm kind of with Springer on this one, if people are going to drive like that I am not so down that my motor isn't done yet.
Mike, sorry again for your luck. I really enjoyed racing with Cody and I hope that maybe you guys can find a way to get back out there someday.

Lost count on how many times that has happened.
Ya'll are forgeting the "skate save" of the night when Danny Smith all but took a nasty ride coming out of four. That driving on both right tires was awesome and would have been ugly if he would have paniced. But he held ground, brought it back on all fours and even kept his position.
Sewell got some big-time air time going off of three. Lucky he wasn't hurt.
I forgot what pro stock it was, think it was Johnny Reed, but they were lucky to not go for a flipping ride in turn one.
Main thing is, equipment can be replaced (if need be) but peoples bodies can't and at least nobody got hurt.
I heard that champ sprint rookie, think it was Kyle Cobb, cramped up after the feature and couldn't get out of the car. Then I noticed the ambulance left. How is he and what is his status?

Hey Mike, if you can square that car up, why not try Meeker for awhile. I just hate to see someone have to throw in the towel in frustration. You don't hear near the flames about drivers at BMS as you do SFS.
It's not HOW fast you go, but how you GO fast.

Okay thank you. Just now got an email about the situation. Hope the young man will be okay and let him know we are thinking about him. Please keep us posted either on here or email me and I will. If we as a racing family can do anything, please don't hesitate to let us know.
