Bruce holtz did the two nights a week in the early 90's but he quickly put a hault to that because it cost too much to prep everything for two nights even though only one track was being used

lmao .......my rookie year during the fair I had a r/r come off my factory stock and lone behold it cleared the fence and caved in the roof of his f-150 lol ...I will never forget that ..just thought that was kinda funny him bein an idiot and all
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

My understanding as why there are no more WOO shows in Okc is b/c Lanny said that promotors fee was too high. He said that he could not make any money from what was coming into the gate compared to what he had to pay to get them here. This is just what I remembered and I could be way off base.

Yes it was worse. It was definitely worse when Bruce Holtz was there.
JORSKI, I remember hearing about that and it's still hilarious. Hated that you broke but was tickled about his truck.

It does need a new guardrail on the front straight , but it's one of the only places around where you can race 3 wide that fast ....oooooh I get chills just talkin about that place ...lol I just wish it was closer I would go every week
