Brad Noffsinger,Mike Sweeney,Jack Hewitt,and Brent Kaeding were the guys in that race. Kaeding and Noffsinger were tied in points until the final round with Noffsinger winning it.

I remember one year when J.W. flew Hewitt into Yuma for a CRA race. Jack loved to run with Leland and the bunch they had at that time so J.W. brought him out just for that show. It rained out Saturday so we got a cheap motel down by the border and stayed. They ran it but the track was rutted up so bad after hot laps it was questionable if the would run it.. They got Jack down on the front stretch and they asked him about the conditions. He said it was no problem, he'd been on worse and all you had to do was go fast enough and you would fly right over them. Boat found a high groove that was smooth but it threw so much dirt on the wall you couldn't tell where the track stopped and the wall started. He ended up driving up and over it. I found a late night video of it years later on some obscure satellite channel and Jeff Gorden was the announcer. Some of good one's did fly over them, but man it was a handful and a very memorable weekend.
