Purse for Salute to Indy Sat. nite at Manzanita Speedway
The Discount Tire American Sprint Car Series Wayne Weiler Memorial Salute to Indy Saturday night will be running for their largest purse ever. A posted purse in excesss of $19,000, including special awards such as hard charger, hard luck. 1/2 way leader and farthest tow, has been posted.
The winner of the 51 lap feature will pocket $2,000 with all 24 cars in the feature receiving at least$350. The main event payout alone is $16,900. The trophy dash distributes $250 and any car that takes agreen flag but does not make the feature will receive $200.
The distribution of the posted purse has the sixth place finisher receiving as much as a main event winner in a regular show.
