The USAC/CRA Sprint Car Races at Calistoga Speedway on August 30th and 31st ARE CONFIRMED AND THE RACE IS ON. Any reports that state otherwise are incorrect.

The races have been confirmed by the USAC National office, the USAC Western States office, the Napa County Fairgrounds, and the Vermeil Family.

In addition to the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, the USAC Western Midgets will compete on the famed Northern California 1/2 mile track.

I just came from a meeting at the fairgrounds and it sounds like the TICKET SALES WILL BE HANDLED BY USAC, NOT THE FAIRGROUNDS. So don't get discouraged if they can't help with ticket info yet. The race is going to happen and Steve Howard is working on the ticket deal.
