I am looking forward to my first visit to Placerville on Saturday. With Ocean and Petaluma sprints being off this weekend, we should see 40+ cars for the Civil War race. I hear I need to get there early as this is one of the biggest races of the year for the track. I have watched a few videos of the place and it looks to have two racing grooves and some overall good racing.

I'll be there as well. I try to make all of the Civil War shows there. The track does have two racing grooves most of the time but it is very narrow and even with two grooves passing is tuff. Don't get me wrong... passing is tuff but it can be extremely entertaining when the leaders are in lapped traffic in just three laps. Most of the time they run a very efficient program. I know of no other track that has so many push vehicles ready to go. It's almost worth the price of admission to watch the cars be rolled down the hill from the pits and as soon as they reach the track a push vehicle pick 'em up and off they go. Get there early and bring some dust/flying debris protection for your eyes. Dust hasn't been an issue so far this year but rocks do make it into the bleachers. Henry, TK, Walker and Allard put on one heck of a show on my last visit. I just wish the GCS didn't have a date in Quincy on that night.

Enjoy the show OSF. One of the raciest joints around. Wear a pink shirt.

Hey Oakland Sprint Fan I will see you there- make sure to get there by 4:30 because the stands fill up fast! Also go to In N Out before or after the race if you have time. Placerville is one of my favorite tracks and they have the best crowd around- you will have fun! I will find you in that pink shirt, he he. I also wish I could be in Quincy, but my littl girl isn't letting me go too far from home right now Smile

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!
