There were 32 410s on hand to battle for $6,000 and a $30,000 purse. Impressive rookie 410 driver Pat Cannon led until Leppo made the pass for the win by driving under the leader in turn four on lap 16. Once in front, Leppo was not seriously threatened en route to his third career win at the Grove.. Program was delayed 90 minutes by rain during the heat events.
