IF your an outsider coming in to run this race, especially if you have a big hauler, plan on getting your engine claimed, as this is the norm for the "locals" that run up there. They don't like outside guys coming in and taking their money, especially Neil Stevens and crew, which happens to include the world famous crew-chief of Dale Wilson. I know this from past experience.

You knew the IMCA Claim Rule before you showed up.
If you weren't willing to abide by the rules, you should have gone elsewhere.
It was a couple of year ago anyway, time to get over it!

I left a message with one of my photographer friends who lives in Kasson Steiny. Deer Creek pulled the plug for tomorrow night and they're just south of Rochester. They had flood warnings down in that part of the state so they must have really gotten a soaking. I'll give you a shout if I hear from him.

I just talked to Three in Owatonna & he said it might be kinda iffy.
Still planning on both CLS & Kasson until I hear something Official.
Cooler's stocked & ready to go.

Everything in the northern hemisphere is canceled. If you're that desperate for an excuse to empty that cooler I can give you my brother-in-law's address over in Withrow. I think he'd be able to help you put a dent in it.

I haven't been to a race since the Sandbox Midgets the last weekend of March. The CLS opener has been postponed by weather since the first week of April. For all intents and purposes we lost a whole month of the season compared to a normal year. Granted a few April races are postponed every season so you end up only going to about 50% of your schedule but there's usually some racing during that time period.
The wife and I rented a pretty good PPV last night and the 2 y/o granddaughter had mommy bring her new puppy over. It's a good chance to spend time with the non-race-fan family and friends. Seeing as they got an extra month out of me maybe they won't mind when I get into the racing routine.
