Razorback Nationals $5000 to Win for Modifieds Scheduled for Centerville Super Speedway

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Midwest City, Oklahoma - January 1, 2007 - Officials at Centerville Super Speedway in Centerville, Arkansas have announced that the conclusion of the 5th Annual Razorback Nationals, which was rained out from the previously scheduled early November date, has been rescheduled for Thursday night, March 29, 2007. The event, which is highlighted by the $5000 to win finale for modifieds, will precede two more nights of racing that are scheduled at the track for Friday and Saturday night in the running of the Arkansas Dirt Trackin State Championship.
While one of the preliminary nights were completed for the mini stocks, hobby stocks and pure stocks, the modified preliminary features were rained out so one complete program will be run for that division. While the above mentioned stock car classes have spots filled, there are still plenty of positions available for feature events. The mini stock feature will pay $3000 to win ($200 to start) and $1000 to win ($100 to start) for both hobby stocks and pure stocks.
Previous winners in the modified portion of the Razorback Nationals are defending champion Johnny Bone, Jr., Jason Hughes (twice), and Bobby Moore. The $5000 to win Thursday Night finale will pay $400 to start.
Drivers will have a chance to race two more nights on the big quarter mile red-clay oval during the running of the Arkansas Dirt Trackin State Championship. This two night event will see drivers compete in preliminary action on Friday night in preparation for the Saturday night finale. The modifieds will compete for $2000 to win ($200 to start), mini stocks $1000 to win ($100 to start) and the hobby and pure stocks $1000 to win ($50 to start).
Centerville Super Speedway is located 0.3 miles west of SR 7 on SR154, then 0.3 miles SW in Centerville. Camping is allowed with no charge.
Complete race information can be found by accessing the Centerville Super Speedway official website at http://www.arkansasdirttrackin.com/. There you will find complete race payouts for all three nights and each nights schedule of events. For more race information or questions, contact track promoter Wayne Tidwell, (479) 970-4376.
