MIDGETS PART OF SATURDAY’S “USAC PACIFIC COAST SPRING NATIONALS” AT ALTAMONT
APRIL 14, 2008 --- Scott Pierovich of Alamo, Calif. leads the USAC Western Midgets to Altamont Motorsports Park in Tracy, Calif. Saturday for the 2008 “USAC Pacific Coast Spring Nationals.” The USAC Western Sprints and California Pavement Ford Focus Midgets also share the billing in the “tripleheader.”
Pierovich finished third a Ventura (Calif.) Raceway April 5 and leads Nic Faas (who was second at Ventura) by 12 points going into Saturday’s racing program.
Pierovich had a pair of fourth-place finishes in last year’s three Tracy Midget events and hopes to improve on that Saturday night.
