California driver Shain Matthews ran Lincoln (Pa.) Saturday night. Any ideas what brought him to PA this weekend? I did a google search and it doesn't look like he has a website, so I could not find a whole lot of background info. I did see that he moved into Sprint Cars from Midgets. He was announced as being from Chico, California. Silver Dollar regular? Golden State Challenge?

yup shain has ran both chico and gsc. he has also traveled the midwest when he ran midgets. im not sure what sent him out there.
he no longer has a site but you can find him on myspace.
any idea why he did not finish?

He was collected in a crash on the first lap of the feature. I am surprised he went to Lincoln Saturday night instead of Port Royal. Port Royal had only run one feature before Saturday night, so points handicapping had not yet kicked in at the track.

Props to Shain for towin' in!! Sorry I wasn't there to express my gratitude to him for showin' up to race here in PA. Did he have shirts for sale?? Does he have a website to purchase shirts??
