David Smith, Jr. (405) 740-4769 Hoffman Race Cars Adds $500 to Outlaws $5000 to Win for Modifieds FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - March 26, 2008 - Oktaha, Oklahoma - Hoffman Race Cars has upped the ante for Outlaw Motor Speedways big $5000 to win modified show, to take place Thursday-Saturday night, April 10-12 in Oktaha, Oklahoma. The Oronogo, Missouri chassis manufacture will contribute $500 to the winners share of Saturday nights feature finale if that driver is competing in a Hoffman modified chassis. The three day event, which has a guaranteed purse of $44,000, is being promoted by local driver Danny Womack, who has leased the facility for the 2008 race season. After promoting a couple of very successful specials at the end of the 2007 race season, Womack and the rest of the Outlaw crew are geared to make this one of the most successful race seasons in the tracks short history. The twenty-six drivers who take the green flag for Saturday nights feature will automatically earn $1000. Entry fee is $100. Hoffman Races Cars builds top late model and modified chassis for several top teams throughout the midwest. Among the drivers who compete in a Hoffman modified chassis include drivers Jesse Stovall, Brian Powers, Rex Merritt, Tate Cole, Chad Wheeler, Henry Witt, Jr. and dozens more. Pit gates open at 5:30 PM on Thursday and Friday night with racing set to get underway at 8:00 PM. On Saturday night, gates open at 3:00 PM with racing at 6:00 PM. The tracks local divisions of pure stocks and factory stocks will also compete on Friday night while the economy modifieds due battle on Saturday night. Outlaw Motor Speedway is located eight miles south of Muskogee and eleven miles north of I-40 on HWY. 69 at the Wainwright Exit.
