To answer a few question:
as for the 50 laps sat. main there has never been a winner in total points to win the Sat. Main thats why we will try 50 laps. (as for the fuel stop how many races have you seen that go 35 non stop most races have a red flag any way) For the Thurs. Main you will not put a better driver in front of you, your racing for points.(just to be a little different) For the 3 day show its not fair to split the field with the points they see diffent track each night. The reason for 3 days if you were there last year how many races were cut short.(to many laps had to be run on Friday, qualifying and heat and 4 mains) As for the cost I know no other 3 day format that you will see the quality of racing as at the trophy cup for the price. Plus 2 FREE meals if you purchase tickets in adavance. And last but not the least Make-A-Wish gets all the Money from the Sponsors and fan that donate in the raffle, cow pie bingo, and shirt sales. (500,000. will be the total after this year)This the 15th year and we wanted to try something different. Last thing it will be a tribute to a driver and his family that have contributed so much to this sport. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE AND IT WILL TURN OUT TO BE THE BEST(if not it can be changed)

Why not have a Wed,Thurs,Fri show & try to lure some WoO drivers to the event ?

No!
If WoO boys want to show up, let 'em. Just don't schedule the race to meet the WoO racers' needs. Dave has run the Trophy Cup as a non-sanctioned, non-affiliated event. He's proven that you don't need the really big traveling names to put on a great show for the fans. A Wednesday - Friday show will just limit the number of local teams that choose to attend. Most of the locals have jobs to do, unlike the WoO boys, who race for a living...

No need to explain yourself. It's your event you make the rules. There's nothing wrong with trying to make it the best possible race for the fans.

dave, you always put on a great race. i believe this year will be no different. change is always met with concern. like wfo said it is your deal. schedule it and they will come. thanks for your efforts.
