last weekend in Devil's Bowl saw a heck of a traveling contingent racing there. Jake Peters, Higday, B. Brown, along with WoO regs Sides, Hafertepe, and Bruce Jr.
anybody know if any of the same teams - or others - plan to make the haul to the ASCS Spring Nationals at State Fair Speedway in OKC?

This will be my first trip to the OKC track...
What can I expect? 3/8 or 1/2?
Car count, maybe 40?
They don't allow coolers do they?
Do they have a curfew?

3/8th track, 1/2 mile is done
Car count 40 to 50 , had 51 at Dallas this past weekend.
No coolers allowed.
Yep 11 pm, the show is run efficiently and you are usually outta there by then if not before.
Run the Modifieds and Pro Stock classes with the Sprints on Friday.
Run the Champ Sprints and Factory Stocks with the Sprints on Saturday.
$20 to get in each night.

OK, so i am hearing rumors of this race being on SPEED TV, anyone heard anything on this or know anything about it?

Wow, good to hear. I assume all three of them are going to Port Royal on Saturday.night? I can't imagine any of them coming to Lincoln and starting in the back of the heats.

FYI - sam15.com told me Friday night that they were planning to go to OKC, if that changes, there will be an update posted on his website.

Sides & Hafertepe will be in OKC, Bruce is moving his shop from KS to Indiana and then going on to PA. I think Pittman is heading back to OKC for the weekend as well but don't know that for sure.

I will be there this weekend, that's kind of like being on Speed TV! Haha. Seriously, I would love for Speed to show some highlights, but they are rarely interested in Sprint Car stuff anymore.

Maybe if ASCS would change their name to ASCSCAR then maybe SPEED would be more interested in televising your video clips.
(Or maybe if SPEED would just change their name to NASCARTV then it would finally tell us subscribers that's all we're going to see when we tune in anyway.)

I havent had Speed channel for 4 months now... are you telling me they quit broadcasting the best show ever, "Pinks" ? (sarcasm alert...) Hopefully they will at least show the Knoxville Nats live again, though...
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

Weather forecast seems promising, but I guess to make that statement the absolute truth, I will have to check with "OKLAHOMA'S WEATHER DEMA-GOD" GARY ENGLAND. If Gary says everything is going to be ok, then I'll scrap my plans for going to the USCS bash in Greenville, Miss.

Rush , Just make the trip down, if Mr. England says it all good then it is, He has MOAR now "Mother Of All Radars" , can spot a Tornado, Dustnado , Backside Down draft, Up Draft and any other draft they can think of.LOL

I was going to come down anyway. The USCS will just have to wait till May at Riverside,maybe.....? I am sure my buddy? P-Dub won't mind...
How could I pass up the "SPRING NATIONALS," at my favorite haunt, State Fair Speedway. Come hell or high water, I'll be there.
