There are a dozen $5,000 to $10,000 Late Model races within two hours of where I live and a $50,000 payday less than an hour away. When in Rome...

I don't know who I'd get to drive both though. We haven't had anybody pull double duty around here since Rick Aukland and Jim Bruggeman. My favorite Late Model driver, a Canadian by the name of Joel Cryderman, wouldn't fit in a Sprint Car and none of the Sprint Car drivers I know would get within 100 feet of a car with fenders. Matter of fact Rager said a classic line, he told a track announcer he wouldn't go near one without first getting a tetanus shot. Smile

But I'll never win the jackpot anyways...

Stan, you forgot about (or more than likely, just overlooked) Mike Balcaen (sp?)... I know you have seen him race! I have one of his older fan cards which has both his late model and sprint car on it.

Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

LMFAO.

I like the efforts with the contingencies "P Dub" puts together for that series. much like the ASCS Patriots do in the NY area.

But me? promotional director? - for 1) I don't think P Dub needs that kind of negative attention and 2) I don't need all the beat downs my involvement would undoubtedly lead to. lol. I'll save everyone the trouble and campaign for a highly qualified suave sort of fella like yourself - lol.

Rush66J for USCS series director. now thats change even I believe in! and btw bud - I don't think I'll join that elusive 2k post club anytime soon. Nodust is the only to reach that acclaimed mark - and look what he had to do to hit it. I kid you Nodust. maybe I'll hit it sometime this race season.

and rush as I'll lobby for your position with P Dub's click. When I hit that 2k post mark - you can lobby Nodust to make a plaque or trophy to mark the occasion - and in true hoseheads style he could throw a couple liberal treehugger insults on there. LOL. that would be friggin' AWESOME!

You want a plaque from No Dust for 2,000 posts? Thought you were holding out for an 8X10 pic of George W. Bush and a map from Big Right Rear. J/K Smile

Nope I think it should be a joint force. If I am going to be beat down, I am taking a politically correct mouth-piece(yourself)with me. LOL.

No really in all seriousness, I will state that P-Dub's efforts are admirable under the circumstances. Heck, he's got some shows in the Memphis area, and that should be a good draw for him to get more cars in the pits.

Nodust? I have nothing to suggest to you on that. Perhaps you could buy him a book on kindness. LOL

aw man that first line there is gonna have me laughin' all day. although I was meaning I would be beaten down constantly for that same reason (the poltical mouth piece part) lol

I agree on the USCS effort. don't know as much as some on that series - but like I said - I really like how they have contingency awards for different finishing positions. that speak volumes to me about direction of leadership within a series. The ASCS Patriots do it too - although they did it well before being under the ASCS banner. as staunch a supporter as I am of ASCS. I really hope they can do that for a lot of their regions. they startin to in some ways. I think having contingencies for guys throughout the field really says a lot to potential drivers and fans of that series - as well as the current.

as far as Nodust - I think kindness is a "hidden" forte for him. lol. seems a cool dude though. if not Nodust - maybe you could just print up a funny lil excerpt on your webpage bout my hittin 2k. I always like a good laugh............

hey man you gonna take the trip down I-35 to SFS this weekend? not much happenin in Shockers country this time of year.................I say Shockers for Wichita St. - if I recall from our visit at the STN - aren't you a KU Jayhawks fan? ya'll need to get that coach on a diet - QUICKLY!

LMFAO. now I like that idea.

I tell you what - a Lance Dewease T shirt and Fred Rahmer bobble-head doll would be just as good! lol.

or how bout on that plaque - made by who I have no idea - there could be lil excerpts from all the hosehead's crew that would reflect just exactly what everyone thinks when they see I have posted on a chili pepper topic. I think there would be a whole bunch of "Shut the **** up!" as well as "O no.......Not Again"

Priceless.

Except for the winged races, I'm thinking Tony Stewart would be your best pick. (still waiting for him to dominate that type of racing too, though...) Just make sure whatever car you own that he races doesn't have Goodyears on it ... LOL

Na I'd rather work with someone other than Tony. He's not very experienced with a wing. There's two guys that I'm thinking about right now both of which are from Cali. and each has some pavement experience as well. One is a proven winner wingless and is currently honing his winged skills on the side while the other is a hammer down, throttle masher who is not intimidated by anyone or any track and was a front runner in about every car I've ever seen him in.
