These guys don't mess around. They weren't kidding about reconfiguring the place I guess:

Probably that Indian casino across the street. I don't know if they own it or not but if I heard right a few years ago they had X amount of dollars to spend from that, that they updated the fairgrounds. If the deal goe's together @ the end of the year. How could this not be neutral ground for all involved ??. Looks like I may have to take a trip to the Burg.

Gosh ... I sure hope the heck they know what they are doing. That was an awesome track just like it was .... didn't need any reconstruction as far as we are concerned.

Dang, lucky you're racing in the Fall from the looks of things today. Glad to see those trees are still there for some background photos. Take It Easy....

Should go with the Figure 8 you suggested. LOL The only place I ever saw a live Figure 8 race was at Riverhead Raceway on Long Island about 12-14 years ago. I dunno if they still run Figure 8s there, but that was about the only place in the Northeast that still ran them. When I went there, I was surprised at how nice the Figure 8 cars looked. The top running cars looked like Pro Stocks or Late Models. The guys that were running up front in the race never stopped at the intersection; they just slowed down slightly. LOL

OK so 3/8 up from the 1/4 - but will there be longer straights or will it be basically a stretched-out circle like before? It seems it will still be highbanked from the photos right - same banking as before or higher?
