I was pleased to see the All Stars release their schedule for the upcoming year. I though that it came out to look very solid with 2 questions. It will be interesting to see who else gets involved with the All Stars in running the series.

1. Outside of L Burg, it seems as if there is not a track that will run the All Stars. Given the sour relationship between the Terre Haute/NVernon promoter and USAC, I was suprised by the lack of dates at either of these facilites.

2. Another year, another no Sharon Nationals. What in the heck is going on up at Sharon. This show was almost an institution and now it is non existant. Any feedback is great because they should bring this weekend back.

The schedule was not "officially" released by the series yet. There are still some things that need to be moved around or changed all together. We'll be releasing the schedule soon with those changes. As far as your #1 above - I assume you are referring to Indiana? We're still working on a few things over there. Regarding #2 - Sharon Speedway dropped the Nationals, the All Stars did not. The All Stars would be happy to race just about anywhere that is willing to pay the sanctioning fee and purse.

Will the MASS schedule be released with the All Star schedule?

I think that will be completed soon, too. They have their banquet this weekend, so first things first.

Last I knew, the Terre Haute Action Track may be getting thr promotion team of Davey Hamitliton, Mike King and Brian Dorsett, which should be great for the track and sprint car racing there.

From what I'm hearing, the All Stars have one of their best schedules in years as well as one of the best driver rosters in some time. Should be a great year, starting at Lake City, FL.

Hey Swamp - I hope to see more Indiana dates on the MASS schedule in 2008. Didn't you have the largest car counts of the year in the Hoosier state? We need more winged sprint car racing in this area. Kokomo, Bloomington, Gas City, the new Lawerenceburg ..... would all make good dates.

However, it's probably hard to get these dates in USAC/non-wing country. Since the WOO are leaving the state, maybe the All Stars & MASS can fill this void.
