The way it sounds, yes. It sounds like the sustained speeds are what makes it much "less pleasurable" to race than Eldora or Volusia.
And it wouldn't be odd for them to cancel this late if the "field filler" cars were not coming to junk their cars at high speeds.

Exactly. This is just a giant bowl of a race track. There's no real "lift". Flat out, wide open the whole way around. Pretty sure Mark & Karl Kinser refused to drop their car down when Thunder Through The Plains went there years ago, as well as a handful of others who were scheduled to race.
They simply should not be on this racetrack unless if, like someone stated previously, they're actively trying to get a driver killed.

Correct. And when Cody was interviewed about upcoming Belleville, he said I hope everyone comes out alive. (not verbatum, but in general) Chances are, everyone comes out alive, but he was trying to make a point.
Sickening how many "fans" are throwing drivers under the bus for voicing their concerns about safety and the lack of an up-to-date catch fence. How about Beaver Dam's decision to keep racing without a catch fence--until Jason Johnson was killed in 2018? How about BAPS and their pit road opening? Wait until Hodnett gets killed and address it? Sick of waiting for something to happen before taking action. There is no reason 410 sprint cars should be racing on a track without an acceptable catch fence, and definitely not on a track banked like this one.
Some say, if it scares you to race these places, no one is forcing you, right? Stay home. Right. That's why the guys said, enough, we're not racing there. I love hearing keyboard warriors throwing drivers under the bus for having no guts. Hilarious.

Sickening is right. Not a single one of us on this message board (myself included) would have the balls to strap into a 410 at Belleville and stand on the gas. The OP here is about as dumb as it gets.

Nothing says "Outlaw" like not wanting to go fast. Shocking that the fanboys didn't mention a peep about Belleville being too fast for the Outlaws. We all know the fanboys would have sprinted here like Usain Bolt running 100 meters if the roles were reversed. LOL

I'm not sure they'd be dumb enough to schedule it in the first place.
WOO -- 75 races
HL -- 64 races (between midweek & regular schedules)
HL races less, thus no need to put a track like Belleville on the schedule. Whomever sanctions, the other will not show. No one wants to run here for any amount of money, if I had to guess. WOO already races at WG 10 times a year, what's one or two more nights?
