How 'bout a non-Larson Knoxville Nationals thread?
I think everybody knew that when they announce Kyle Larson had made it to Knoxville that the outcome of the race was decided in most people's minds. Larson's fans are happy. Those that want to say "I told you so!!!" are happy.
-Trevor Canales was set to start the A feature and collect $12,000- as much as a typical WoO feature race pays. But alas, at the last minute, they brought in a NASCAR guy to fill the seat and the rest is history.( )
-Kasey Kahne had a realy good run
-Logan Schuchart, my pick every year to win did well, 12th to 3rd and finished in 5th
-Tanner Holmes went 24th to 13th and it made me look up which Tanner this is. Answer: Oregon Tanner
-I expected more out of Haudenschild

What more was to be expected out of Haud? He finished second. I don't think even the most optimistic of people believed he would beat Larson or even hang with him.

I dunno. Maybe lead a few laps early? Maybe catch Larson in lapped traffic? Maybe run the cushion late and catch up with Larson? What I wasn't expecting was him getting passed and having to work his way back forward.

You really expected Haud to lead a few laps early or catch Larson in lapped traffic? I think almost everyone expected Larson to walk the field, romp uncontested and that is exactly what happened. Haud ended up with the best realistic result he was going to get.

Hey, a guy can dream, can't he? l expect Larson to win. I was hoping for something more exciting than an average Super Bowl blow-out. To be fair, Kahne looked like he had a chance as he pulled almost up to the leader on a late restart.

The vapor trails coming off the wings out of turn four looked pretty awesome. Gave the impression things were a little humid there.
