Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

As of 8:45AM local time:
Due to morning rainfall at Knoxville Raceway, #HardKnox Hot Laps have been pushed to 12:00pm CT with grandstands opening at 11:00am CT, and the format has been changed.
From the Qualifying Night points:
1-20 are now locked into the Championship Feature.
21-40 are now locked into tonight’s LCS.
41-50 are locked into the first five rows of tonight’s C-main.
51st and down will partake in a shortened #HardKnox program with no qualifying where points line up the Heats. The winner of the Feature will start 11th in tonight’s C-main, and we will fill out the lineups from there.

Wonder how the money gets paid out for Hard Knox? Does the track still have to pay out all the designated Friday money? Guessing it will be short field this afternoon.

I would think Knoxville would make sure the money is paid out to the drivers who support them. This is big race put on by the world's most famous sprint car track, not an event put on by a corporate sanctioning body. (Yes, I konw the WoO tags their name on this, to help self-promote, but it's not their race.)

Here's an idea. Paul Silva could put Sammy Swindell in his car for the feature. A lot of controveries solved and some fresh ones opened up.

NEWS: Adjusted FVP “Friday” Event Purse
$7,500 to win the A Main and $1,300 to start!
The B Main will pay $1,000 to 5th place — the first non-transfer car — and $500 to start.
Total Purse: $68,450
Based on the 40 cars we expect to compete today, that comes to an average of $1,700 per car. The original purse would have paid an average of $1,400 per car.
