Do any of the top 10 finishers tonight regularly race 360's? If this trend keeps up, you'll soon have even NASCAR drivers running in the 360 Nationals.

The 2026 360 High Limit Nationals!

Really hate this for the 360 Knoxville and ASCS guys.  This should be their week

Ryan Leavitt was 10th, derp.  Knoxville regular and resident. If you have a good arm you could about throw a rock and hit his business from the back gate.  Locked in for Saturday night. 

I'm calling bullshit on this whole line of thinking. As long as everyone's running the same rules, you race whoever shows up.  It doesn't mean anything otherwise. 

Besides Leavitt, I hope Tim Smith and Tony Rost are walking around today proud that they qualified for that feature. 

Low Limit? What are you, seven years old? Why would anyone willingly potentially go junk their equipment for 55 laps for $25,000.00 when they can race a nationals tune-up even that could pay $10,000.00 more if they lead all the laps? Maybe if the WoO wants the Ironman to be a premier event, they should work with the track promoter to up the pay. 

You got there! I was just looking at the feature results. He started in 1st place; he ended in first place, just like Gravel recetly did. I figured the same crowd that was up in arms would be up in arms again and compaining about the format. 

So the guys that only race 360s are supposed to be proud for just making the feature? Is that the goal now?

I recognize your bias, but wasn't the idea that High Limit drivers would have time to run (or not run) other races outside their franchise?

Maybe something could be made of some sponsoship money to reward the 5 highest finishing regular 360 racers of the event?

I remember the days ( like every year till 2023ish) when 99 percent of the posts around this event bashed 410 regulars as cherry pickers and compared it to Kyle Busch running the truck series.   I wonder what's different now to make it cool to selective "fans" 

It's like some NBA guys getting in a light scrimmage against some townies inbetween the eastern conference finals and the NBA Finals. They're out there in cut-off sweats and hoodies just dunking on the locals. 

I mentioned those two, in addition to Leavitt, because they're Knoxville regulars, only race 360s, and are far from the most dollared up operations in the pits.

The 360 started with 2 barrel carbs and steel wheels and was basically started as a filler class at Knoxville might have paid less than $500 to win. Cheap entry level cars Todays cars are exactly same as 410 Outlaw cars except 360s that are less than 1 second slower and motor some cheaper. I remember the first 360 nationals sparse crowd now with the top drivers good purse it is a event.Gio was fast and earned the pole thru qualifing and heat. Most of the regular 360 guys have full time jobs and families to support and race because they love the sport

The only annoying part about the 10 days of Knoxville to me is the hype that comes off a good performance at the 360 Nationals. Gio starts on the pole and wins, wow that should translate well to next week. If the 410 program is working well then yes, but there's rarely any correlation between the two cars. 

Nationals tuneup with a different motor? Something tells me the WoO will do just fine this weekend with their little event. 

I looked up drivers that have won both 360 and 410 nats during their career. Pretty short list, lasoski and sammy were the only 2 I saw. Obviously 360 nat wins don't translate to 410 nat wins.

Love the 10 days. Brings the dopes out.

The Outlaws will do fine with the Ironman with likely another record crowd with several thousand in standing room only spots and the right amount of cars to not wear out the track - 38 official entires at last count.

The Outlaws will also do fine at the Real Nationals next week like they always have.

Also, the World Racing Group will also do fine with the Limited (360) Nationals since they saved the ASCS from disappearing by buying the sanction when it was about to go under.

The Marion County Fair Board will also do fine because the Real Nationals will make up for all of the money that they lose on the remainder of their entire season, including the Limited Nationals.
