My list of unforgetable Grove races:

Awesome list! I'm sure Saturday night's race ranks right up there with the rest of them!

I just watch the guys who are at the track and don't give much thought to those who are not there. I know the foremat most times before I go and if I was going to be upset about it wouldn't go. Do you guys bashing the Grove know that it isn't most Pa fan's favorite place to watch a race either. Look at the crown for a regular show. The first Williams Grove national I went to Gordon Johncock won, the last one I went to Steve Kinser won.

Numbers are facts. People hate numbers. Remember, always think with your heart and not your head.

Numbers also change over time. Half a season of numbers anywhere don't tell the longtime story.

46 World of Outlaw races and 32 High Limit races is a pretty good sample size I'd say. We're talking about 78 combined races. 2026 is over half done, and everything has come to light pretty well.
A few things:
1. Rico is far stronger now than he was at the start of the season. If you started the season in May or June, he'd be very high on the list. But the season started much earlier.
2. Marks was 'meh' over the past couple of seasons and up until about 6 weeks ago. He is much stronger than we've seen him in a long, long time. If you started the season in June, he'd be much higher on the list.
3. Carson Macedo has cooled off over the past 3-4 weeks for sure.
4. Sheldon is on a tear. He may end up challenging David if David has a string of bad luck. ??? He has to keep it up though. So far, not the old "Crashenschild"
5. Thorson was a world beater in month 1. He has disappeared.
6. Courtney is nowhere near where he was the past couple of seasons. He is a non-factor most nights. Would love to see him re-emerge at Knoxville next weekend.
7. Gio is starting to get it together, but he is still way off the pace of the top Outlaws. Still, I wouldn't count him out for Knoxville. It's a place he's traditionally good at.

High Limit advertising did it for me. Jokers Wild week at Eldora their promotional ad had NASACAR driver Kyle Larson front and center as their main selling point. Meanwhile Rico and Aaron were in the background to the right and left as if they're an after thought. Apparently the self promotion claimed best series since sliced bread doesn't even have a Sprint Car driver they're willing to be the main attraction in their advertising materials.
I have both Dirtvision and Floracing and watch both series but to me the sanction is kind of an afterthought. I watch a little bit of everything, 305, 360, 410 wing and non-wing. I do however, mute the television when their pit reporter introduces driver as if it's more like a pro wrestling introduction than a race. Larson will run with HL until Hendrick decides to revoke his hall pass, something he alluded to last year at Nationals.

Thank you. I knew you were the man with the info, but couldn't find it. I knew your user name is BillV with a number after it. BillV01? Nope. BillV02? Nope. BillV03? Nope. Dang! This is going to take a long time to figure out.
