IT’S DIAMOND SPRINT CAR SERIES RACE WEEK! Pre-Reg’n ends TONIGHT!

Three big nights of Winged and Traditional Sprint Car racing are ready to thrill the fans of KRA Speedway (Willmar, MN Thursday July 2) and Viking Speedway (Alexandria, MN Friday & Saturday July 3-4) as the Diamond Sprint Car Series hits the track for the first time. 

More liberal rules and added purse will set the tone for what is sure to be a FANtastic weekend of action!

DRIVERS: Tonight is the last opportunity to get pre-registered for these events. 

Here’s the registration links - which will expire at the end of the day on Monday, June 29. Drivers choosing not to preregister will pay a nightly draw fee of $25 and are not eligible for pre-race Fan Fest or the preregistration money that will be redistributed to preregistered drivers - so please get entered today if you have not already.

RACE FANS & TEAMS: Here are the detailed times and schedules for each race night this weekend. 

KRA THURSDAY:

Pits - 4:00pm (but should be open earlier). Pit map attached in picture below with the track nestled right next the lake shore (how cool is that!).

Pit Pass - $35

Fan Fest - 5:15, preregistered cars behind grandstands.

Pit meeting - 5:50

Heat in engines, on track - 6:15

Hot Laps - 6:30, Time Trials to follow

Racing - 7:00

Track will push cars. 

Fuel will be available.

Camping is allowed in pits. 

VIKING SPEEDWAY:

Pits - 4:00pm (but should be open earlier). Pit map attached in picture below. 

Pit pass - $30 Friday, $35 Saturday.

Fan Fest - 5:15, cars behind grandstands.

Pit Meeting - 5:50.

Heat in engines, on track - 6:15.

Hot Laps - 6:30, Time Trials to follow.

Racing - 7:00

Track will push cars.

Fuel will be available.

Camping is allowed in pits.

So let’s get fired up for the huge upcoming holiday weekend with three nights of exciting sprint car racing, taking in the natural beauty of Minnesota - all as the Diamond Sprint Car Series hits KRA Speedway and Viking Speedway!
