Looking for a great place to get away and celebrate the 4th of July weekend? The Diamond Sprint Car Series has three nights of great sprint car racing in the upper Midwest!
The first night's track, KRA Speedway, is literally on the banks of a lake in Willmar, MN! The second and third nights are about 60 miles north in Alexandria atop the wide 3/8 mile expanses of Viking Speedway.
And to top it all off, I'd recommend staying at Head of the Lakes Resort on the north shore of Lake Osakis to take in all the spoils of a true northern Minnesota experience...fishing off the dock, watersports, fun cabins, a great on-site diner/bar to take a break from the sun, shoot pool with the locals and sip on some of the 'exotic' beers of northern Minnesota...and about a 20 minute drive to the track.
