Looking for information on Calistoga Speedway, I'm going to be in the area that week and have already bought tickets for the Louis Vermeil show. My question for the locals:
Would they run on Monday in the unlikely event of rain on either night?
I've attempted to contact the track and promoter but no response as yet.
Thanks for any help on this!

Try calling Hunt's Race World and talk to Jeanie. She and Tommy are the promoters.
As you probably know, significant rain on Labor Day weekend would be extremely unusual in Napa Valley. It's more likely to be very hot. I suggest you plan on sticking around Monday anyway for the USCS race at Petaluma. That track has one of the greatest clay surfaces in all of racing.

Update: Got an email from Tommy Hunt. The rain date for the Classic is Labor Day.
Igo-Ono, I'll take your advice on Petaluma Monday, fly home Tuesday. Thanks!
