I like and have supported both. Have gone to a number of races for both series. I know some people on here sometimes get a bad rap because they either have no issue with the outlaws business model but do have an issue with HL or vise versa. Then there are some of us that do not necessarily have issues with either of their business models but do have concerns of the sustainability of HL which is where I would fall. Mainly the piece that surrounding if the FLO money dries up or if FLO subscribers start decreasing. Listening to Dirtrackers youtube update about the streaming numbers a week or so ago during the night of the World 100, they were way below what I would have anticipated.
Now just because I have questions and concerns about how long they are able to continue as a series, does not mean that I do not like the series or what it is about. I think having 2 series does give us anywhere between 18-24 full time quality teams touring between the 2 series.
couple thing about both series that I think is lost on some fans is the fact that there is not way that either could have probably more than 12 full time basis on a continous yearly basis and be able to function year after year. With the tow money, point fund, contingency awards, and various other things that each offer, there is no way that either could be able to go for long. I always shook my head at the comments years ago when people would say "The Outlaws really only have 8-9 fullt time drivers." At the same time, I do not see how a team can go very long with either and finish outside of the top 4 or 5. If you were to put all of the teams together from both series, and had them race in 1 series, a majority of them would probably fall off the tour. There is no way either of them can off the support to all. By having 2 series, you do have the 7BC, Rico,etc running in a national series. Few years ago people always wondered where would the 7BC and the 87 team from the All Stars fall in WoO points. There would have been a risk of each being between 6th and 9th, maybe even further back and that just does not make much sense while trying to do something that does not make much sense in the first place.

I think Rico would have been a full time WoO by now if the HL had not become a national series. Cuz he had shared plans to do so.
If Flo dries up someone else will be found to replace the money. As a series they will look for sponsorship. Sponsors have always come and gone. Nothing new here. If Flo wants HL to be their premiere attraction in spite of dropping subscribers,they may need to adjust their available product so it is more attractive. That also is not a new business concept. If Flo puts too many eggs in the Sprint Car basket they may need to do something drastic to attract customers.

Floracing aka Flosports built their channel on college and semi professional sports. They marketed the channel to sports parents and at some point added racing. The High Limit deal hitched onto that and built their series around Flo. Flo still targets the college and semi professional sports at the SAME SUBSCRIPTION PRICE (caps to make that point stand out). How much do those other sports contribute to the overall success of the streaming service or is racing a bigger market share? One of those things racing fans don't know so I won't speculate but it does make raising annual subscription increases more complicated as increase bleed over between the sports. On the other hand, Dirtvision is exclusively a racing channel if that makes any difference to anyone.
Then the question becomes which customers are you referring to? Floracing customers or Flosports customers? How big of a potential additional customer base is available ie have they tapped out the racing market or is there more potentia? I can just about guarantee that all of those subjects and more come up for discussion. Correct me if I'm wrong but one of the driving forces at Floracing came from the Dirt on Dirt Late Model site and is head of their racing at Flo. Mike Rigsby, I was introduced to him one year at USA Nationals and he is a bundle of positive energy.
I'm interested in seeing what becomes of this charter deal, if everything goes down as promised, and how strong the commitment from NASCAR ties and the streaming service is in the future. I am pretty much confined to watching from home for the forseable future so watching races has become a television routine and streaming is a bit more of a priority. It's futile to have strong opinions and stand my ground over what amounts to televised sports so I chill and watch both series and enjoy all the dirt racing. Sprint Car racing is in pretty good shape nowadays and is currently in a youth movement both drivers and fans. That's good for the sport as well and that's how I prefer to look at it now.

@jason88cubs
I hear the High Limit announcers talk all the time about the WOO in very good light but I have never heard not one time Johnny and co mention the Higt Limit series.
Cheers

Is this title correct? I've seen very little hate for the world of outlaws coming from the HL fans. The majority of what I have seen is world of outlaw Fan boys hating on high limit for existing. I agree with what you're saying about HL trying to make it more about being a show in addition to the racing than just focusing strictly on the racing. I'm neutral on that I can take it or leave it And watch both series when I have the chance.

Agreed! As for the series working together for the marquee events. Well we already have that. The Kings Royal week is 4 nights - 2 of them HL and 2 of them WOO. HL doesn't schedule against the Knoxville nationals or WG National Open. WOO has had hate long before HL. That's just due to the fact that they have driven the rules of 410 sprint racing for a long time and have turned it into a corporate money game and it's put a hurting on local 410 racing.
