Thank you. As a sprint car fan, I appreciate a good race. Looks to me hat Rico will have the field covered tonight. Who do you see filling out the podium?

I fell asleep trying to watch west coast races after Husets finished up last night.  Husets has more familiar drivers so I'm glad that will be the early races this weekend.

East and west coast races don't hold my attention as much as watching something more local to the Midwest where I follow the drivers all season.  Location, location, location kind of like real estate.

As a Canadian I'd like to point out Robbie Price led 21 laps last night.

Attended first two nights. Will be there tonight too. Humidity and temperature have been an issue. Nicer day today just north of the track in Bellingham. Hope it dries out the surface a bit so they can better control it tonight.

Night one was pretty bad. Look at some of these numbers...
Invert of six to the heats. Top 5 advance. Of the top nine qualifers, only four of them advanced to the A out of the heats. The B was a murderers row of heavey hitters. Quicktime in qualifying was close to 11.0 (can't remember exactly). The fastest lap in the A was lap 27 by Rico. It was 11.7. The track was just too wet from rain earlier in the day. They didn't do anything to the track at all because they couldn't. After the sun went down the moisture came right to the top. Not one drop of water put on the track all night. I can't point the finger at anyone. Not much they could do about it. Just a fact of dealing with the weather.

Night two was a bit better. It was warmer yesterday like today. Rico didn't have much of a challenge in front of him making his charge to the front. I have to give Robbie Price a little credit. He did fight Rico off for a few laps, but it felt inevitable.

Depending what happens in the qualifiers it feels like Sanders or Marks are the only ones that might give Rico any sort of challenge. It feels like Thorson is due. He's bound to have a night soon that puts him on top of the podium. I like High Limit a lot, but I can't deny that having Reutzel and Sunshine out of their cars is really killing the competitive level on the series. Sweet? That car is just the struggle-bus lately. Perhaps he'll surprise and have a night. We shall see...

Ricky really had Rico running this weekend!  Way to go!  That is 16 wins so far this year for Rico.  Ricky and Rico also took over the HL point lead last night.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Rico - 16 wins
Donny - 0 wins That is right the big fat zero!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Remember early on, when everyone was freaked out that Larson and Sweet would win everything and shut everybody else out?

With 3 wins for Sweet and 9 for Rico it amazes me Rico only took the lead now. Seems fishy at first glance but I know it can't be corrupt due to the points being transparent.

So if Gravels success is only due to Sweet being HL I guess we should give both the HL and WoO season championships to Rico now.  As far as which series is tougher, just a stat ( not a fact cuz facts don't mean anything), Rico has won one out of 5 with the HL and 1 out of 17 with the WoO. Of course he does have races in the WoO column before he maybe hit his peak. Just a chunk to chew on.
