Knoxville is who moved back a week.  But it'll be more like it used to be.  Unfortunately Kyle will be be hosed.  His only hope would be an early rainout at Richmond.

I think we're all devastated for Kyle and all the High Limit fans....

Agreed!  It will be better without him.  He is a big distraction for sprint car racing.  He should stick to NASCAR.  He proved at Indy tht he has no business there either, with three bad crashes in less than a week.

Agree.  I want to see every possible heavy hitter there.

Me too! I haven't cheered for just one driver in decades. I just want to see some close racing every year, old guys winning and first time winners are fun too. I do hope Silva brings a car for somebody if it isnt KL.

Change the rules to the driver, not the car qualifies. Remember that Rico BS a few years ago?

Rico qualified his car for the A-main on Saturday night.  However, he made the decision to run another race---I cannot remember which one.  A crew member was allowed to start his car, and park for the last place payout.

(I'm assuming that's what he's referring to)

I'd like to see him race it if he can but, I do not think it makes the event any better or worse itself. It does take away a little bit of the outside attention that he has brought to the event or sport and like it or not, he has brought more attention to it. Would the event still have happened and would the attendance still have been the same all these years? Most likely. But all in all, if he is not able to race in it, I think it will still be a great event. Still the best event in the sport and probably all of motorsports.

If I remember right that was during Rico's brief NASCAR truck time.    I didn't care much for the situation either.

Agree.  I'm just glad he was in the field when Timms won it so no one could diminish his win!

I have a 4 to 5 hour drive to any good sprint car racing, & I know Larson is gonna be there, thats a huge incentive for me to go....

Of course Knoxville Nats will still be good without him!

There was a day when you were considered the winner when you beat all other contenders who participated. Today you have to beat the guys who don't show up to

I am also devasted about this. Nascar should really re-think this conflict, or at least mention the HL series throughout their broadcast to help promote racing as a whole.
