A few years ago, Knoxville had the highest purse in racing at 1M.  But the past few years, Knoxville has only minimally increased their purses.  Meanwhile Eldora is now paying almost 900k for their 4 days of Kings Royal week and  the Husets High Bank Nationals is now up to 800k.  Given the growth of these events, is it possible Knoxville is surpassed by the end of the decade?

I doubt it. Eldora needs another $300,000 ish to catch Knoxville. A few years ago Kville added money and I'm sure they can add more if they need to. My question would be, do they feel they need to add money to remain the biggest event. If they judge it by ourse I'm sure they will find money to add.

I personally like the large money for the non-podiums finishers

100% agree, $20,000 dollars is pretty good scratch to just start the A-main.

I doubt Knoxville would ever let it get stale again. I believe next years Nationals will pay $200k which suggests another pay increase throughout the field.
