I'll make it quick.

Get rid of the WOO sanction for the Nationals!

After last night's screwing over of Macri, considering how they treated the fact that Madsen brought out the yellow twice and was allowed to keep his position.

WTF?

Also that incident between their golden boy, Gravel, intentionally spinning Larson at Eldora?

Not a word! Amazing, isn't it?

It's easy to blame the WoO when a non-WoO driver is on the receiving end of something, but I don't think WoO is running this race. Knoxville Raceway is. WoO is part of the deal because they need it to show up on their resume.

Some years back, Knoxville Raceway and WoO had a falling out over who should be running the show. For a couple of years, it was a non-sanctioned show. WoO figured out they needed their name on the sign, at least for all the free PR that comes along. WoO needed the Knoxville Nationals more Knoxville needed WoO. After a while, the WoO came back. If I were to guess, I'd say that Knoxville pays WoO something near a one dollar sanction fee for the Nationals.

Aren't all the fanboys always saying the Nationals aren't a WoO race, that Knoxville runs the show and the WoO are there in name only? And now a bad call is made and the fanboys are out to blame the WoO?

Fanboys, be consistent.

If Knoxville is in fact making the calls, it would make the Macri/Madsen calls even worse.  It now has the appearance that Knoxville was taking care of one of their own.

No matter who is running the show, it was not a consistent call.

Yep!  Knoxville only has two cars in the A main tonight.  That is not counting Timms who has won there five times this year, but he is hardly a Knoxville local.  He has won 9 times in recently at Husets and prior to that his greatest success was at Farmington Empire in Missouri where he has won 4 times with a 410.  I believe Madsen now lives in Knoxville and drives for the Vermeer family which has a lot of wealth and employs many people in the area.  Knoxville trying to take care of its own.

I thought the Leibig's owned that car? Isn't that a Knoxville based team?

Timms is 5th in Knoxville points, he's a regular this year and definitely counts as a Knoxville car.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the WoO had demanded $5 for every ticket sold in addition to the sanctioning fee.   Then Knoxville told them to stick it.    I could easily be mistaken on that one.   Wonder if someone can verify that one either way.

I hope the WoO never gets control over this race and converts it to their boring ass format...

You Outlaw fanboys are so desperate that you can't even come up with your own slam for supporters of competition.

"You wanted the best....and we're going to copy it because that is all we can do."

Timms has come in there and just kicked the shit out of the Knoxville regs this year.

Liebig racing is based in western South Dakota, a 9-1/2 hour trip up the road.

To be fair, conspiracy theories generally aren't big on consistency.

Thanks Murph. It's not a "National" team right? I'm gonna be pulling for them even though I'm from Pennsyltucky.

South Dakota car, Oklahoma driver = not a Knoxville car, certainly not a Iowa driver.  Iowa driver is the kiss of death for the Nationals.

Madsen should have been put to the rear too. No excuse for that blatant favoritism. It's unfair to every other competitor.

One FB post I saw had the woo and HL and the Knoxville login in the post. I doubt Woo would include the HL. I've heard before and believe those here saying that the Knoxville team runs this show.

I'm sure Knoxville could run this solo without any sanctioning. If they did, every woo would use their hall pass and I'm sure if Wrg scheduled against it they would lose a tremendous amount of loyalty from the teams. Doing so would be unwise.

I agree. The format is one of the things that makes the event so great to watch.

Um. Have you ever looked at where the weekly racers at Knoxville are from? all over the country. You think Knoxville regular = Iowa.
