The heats were really good, especially the battles for the transfer spots. Pole Shuffle was pretty good as well. When we walked up and looked at the track in the mid-late afternoon, it looked as usual. I was worried though about the lack of humidity and the number of cars. Not much they could have done different as it started to get very dry and slick after hot laps. Quick time in 2nd flight of hot laps was in the 16's and we saw very rare dust by the end of the heats. They did a great job with what they had, but track came up about 15 laps short of making it to the end before it turned to rubber.
Looking forward to high humidity and 2/3 the cars on Wednesday and Thursday nights! I wouldn't change a thing and the weather will bring it right to them! Track was fantastic midway through the show, and should hold longer mid-week!
