I saw that Sammy was at Knoxville last Saturday night. He's still hanging on. Does he hold the record for starting the most Knoxville Nationals? Or maybe Steve Kinser does? I've a feeling that Sammy has attended the most Knoxville Nationals, but since he hasn't made the Saturday A feature in a number years, perhaps his stats on that kind of fade. I would bet that if you added appearances at both 360 and 410 Nationals together Sammy would be tops.

Looks like Sammy has the record for All-Time Appearances wrapped up forever. If he can make the A-main one more time, I think he'll have 2nd place in that category wrapped up forever as well. Go Sammy!
