High Limit embarrassed the In Laws at Eldora with ZERO In Law wins for the week. On the bright side, the In Laws did mention High Limit not once, but TWICE on last night's broadcast!

Lol. The Limited fans so desperate to claim victory despite the Posse and Nascar dominating the week.

I think that settles it? Why this week and not last week when it was reversed?  Didn't settle anything.

For me i will always be an WoO fan! Sorry but they carried the sprintcar banner for years and kept them alive! Not a HL fan at all! Screw Larson and his band of merry men! I have sponsored a sprintcar for nearlly 20 years and i really dont see the good HL brings, Just a playground for Larson to do when hes bored! Definitely divided things for sure! I love the outlaws, always have always will!!

The loss of the WoO brand would be devastating to the 410 sprint car world.  The casual fan identifies with the WoO brand name, and shows outside of sprint car hotbed areas thrive because of this brand.  When you talk to a fan of a different racing discipline, and bring up winged-410 cars, they will almost always say "you mean the World of Outlaws cars?"  I agree they absolutely did grow this sport nationwide.  Otherwise, you just have a few regions of weekly shows and a speedweeks.  The WoO produced a platform for us to compare teams and drivers from all over.

Unlike you, however, I am a fan of the HL.  Racing is great, just like the WoO is great.  It's literally the identical show to the WoO, with the exception of putting the fastest car from each heat in 4th vs. the pole.  (this makes almost zero difference because they are in the dash 99% of the time anyways just like if you'd put them on the pole)  Heats are identical.  Some good.  Some bad.  Some 'meh.'  Is it bad for sprint car racing having them divided?  Only if the WoO is put out of business. The HL going out of business would be a blip on the radar.  The WoO going out of business would be like the NFL going out of business.  Sure, some people would like it, but it would be REALLY bad for football.   If they can both thrive, and have nice fields of cars like they do now, I think it's good.  I don't know if there is enough money to go around for both, but we will find out.   For right now, I'm happy to have a HL show to watch tonight.  If someone is put out of business, I will be pissed, and no one in their right mind can tell me it was a good thing.

The brand name and recognition is huge especially to fans of other forms of racing. I have worn some of the local guys shorts around to NHRA events, our kids races, some local tracks, and people will ask if the driver is one of those World of Outlaws guys. When I say know hes a local guy or an All Star, it is always a confused stare on their face. 410 sprint car racing would not be where it is today if it was not for the WoO group and it would drastically decline if it goes away. You do not have to like the business side of things, or the people that are involved in the business but the drivers, owners, crew people, Johnny, and people who do the leg work for them are the reason why the sport has reached the heights that it has.

I also support the High Limit group. They have created an opportunity for other teams, drivers, and tracks. I think they saw the opportunity with the other streaming platform, the growing popularity of the sport, the number of teams, tracks to create something. I don't think at any moment, any people within the series have had plans to put the WoO out of business (that is just a narrative that has been created by people who have hated WoO for being too "big" whatever the heck that means). I think their intial intention was to have a mid-week series since WoO had somewhat stopped doing that and work in tandem with them. When it was realized that the 2 or 4 race permission rule would not be lifted (only somewhat), I think they may have seen an opportunity based on that mid week season's numbers that there was real opportunity for them as a group to make money or to have something that could sustain, not take over. Listening to Tony Stewart who does have his faults but I would say he is pretty knowledgable about this stuff, he said on Winged Nation that you can't really have more than 12 committed teams running your series. With the pit pass, tow money, and all other perks, it is not sustainable. At the same time, there were a number of tracks looking to get Outlaw dates but could not because various reasons. Putting everything together, I think they took advantage especially with the streaming.

There really are not many difference between the 2 series and they will become less and less over time. I would suspect as the time goes on, we will start to see similar rules to where guys can race and where they can't and the opportunity to race at other event to be limited just by their schedule alone.

Look, I can live with both series. I'm just looking at dollars earned over the past week. The outlaws didn't cover the diesel bill, while many of the High Limit guys are eating steak.

You mean Macedo taking the win with the top 3 in HL points sitting out? Surprised the crybaby and his db crewchief wasn't there to cherry pick as well.

Don't forget it was your boy Kofoid who put Courtney in the hospital and out for the season by stepping on his deck at Eldora.

I wear sprint car shirts everywhere I go. I have never had someone ask me if that driver is a WoO driver. I call bs on that claim.
