What's up with scheduling a bunch of days off during the middle of racing season? WoO is off from June 28 to July 10 (9 days) H-L is off June 28 to July 11 (10 days). Even Husets is off from June 21 to July 13 (22 days). Husets has a sprint race on the 13th, then 2 weeks until the next sprint car race.

Is this to allow teams to compete in Speedweeks events?

I think with the big month of racing in July through to Knoxville is why they scheduled the way they did. it's the biggest month or so of the year so I don't see anything wrong with giving the teams a little extra time off to prepare.

Yep just a planned mid-year break to get geared up and get things re-freshed.

I think this really shows the significance of the Nationals.

How did guys like Kinser, Swindell, Wolfgang, etc. manage to run full seasons without taking a week and a half break in the middle?
